KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati together with its business partner, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna (Bank Sampoerna), again synergized with the Cooperatives Service and the local Police to take care actions in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic situation which is still endemic to this day. The action was in the form of distributing 300 food packages each to 34 branches of KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati and 17 branches of Bank Sampoerna throughout Indonesia. The movement, which is called the Sahabat Peduli Community Sharing Sembako Program, is carried out in stages, where the first stage will be carried out in August 2021 and the second stage will be carried out in September 2021 with a total assistance of 27,000 basic food packages.

The distribution of basic necessities is in synergy with the Police Office, Panti and the local Cooperative Service. Meanwhile, the procurement of basic needs works in collaboration with KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati members in each region, so that the empowerment of MSMEs can be carried out evenly and more people will receive the benefits.

Recipients of aid are focused on people who are financially affected by the pandemic, such as casual daily workers and underprivileged communities in the KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati office and Bank Sampoerna. Hopefully this activity will bring blessings to all parties, including donors, organizers, customers and beneficiaries.
