Bapak Aris Bongkasa from Pinrang, South Sulawesi
Pinrang regency is a small town located around 185 kilometres from Makassar. There lives a couple who seek fortunes from the clarity of glasses. They are Mr. Aris Bongkasa and his wife, Mrs. Nurlena, who have been running the business for 10 years. Mrs. Nurlena started their business by continuing the business of her cousin who suffered hundreds of millions rupiah of losses. The loss was caused by bad financial management. Mrs. Nurlena and her husband continued the glass shop, with faith that it will grow further.
In 2016 their wishes to enlarge the warehouse was fulfilled. Mr. Aris and Mrs. Nurlena Join as a member and got a loan from KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati. Thanks to Mrs. Nurlena’s younger sibling who recommended KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati. Mr. Aris doesn’t have to worry about his glasses stock anymore. His current warehouse is bigger than the previous one. Since each order that he made reaches a container or 18 crates which contains 300 pieces of glasses per crate, then there are 5.000 pieces of glasses that should be stored in his warehouse. In addition to that, the funds from KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati were used to buy a forklift, which is being used to move the crates from the container to his warehouse. “We hope that KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati can keep helping us and other small business like ours. We also hoped the interest could be decreased,” said Mrs. Nurlena while ending the conversation.
