In order to support the innovation program for the corporatization of the livestock sector and the development of commodities for sheep breeders in Garut, KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati with Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, Alumni Association of Padjadjaran University through Jabar Feeds Indonesia Center (JAFIC) unit IKA UNPAD, Himpunan Peternak Domba Kambing Indonesia (HPDKI) and Bank BJB visited the Nurul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School’s farm area in Cibulakan, Cinta Village, Karang Tengah, Garut Regency on December 19, 2020.
Attendees of the event included the Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs, Teten Masduki,a representative from KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati, Luqmanul Hakim as Licensing and Public Relations, and representatives from each collaborating parties. KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati itself donated 10 sheeps as a form of support to the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs.
As quoted from Harian Neraca, Saturday, December 19th, 2020, the Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs, Teten Masduki, said that this collaboration aims to encourage and support the innovation in the corporatization of the livestock sector and the development of new superior commodities, especially for sheep breeders in Garut.
“I am optimistic that through CSR of 50 rams and with good management, in the next one year it will produce up to 2,000 high-quality beef sheep,” said Teten as reported by Harian Neraca.
