Mr. Saleh from Tomoni, South Sulawesi

The story of Pak Saleh, who initially entered the world of cows, is very sad, the long journey to buy a cow is up to 30 km away, even more sad, the cows he bought was guided on foot. The business he started when he was still a bachelor, initially raised only 5-6 cows. Gradually, with the capital of experience and the profits that Mr. Saleh’s cows gained, Mr. Saleh’s cows grew more and more. However, the obstacle in this area is to get cows, you have to look outside the city and even outside the province. This is what causes breeders in the area to have little competition.

When facing Eid Al-Qurbani Day, the demand for sacrificial cows greatly increases compared to the usual months. In a normal month, Pak Saleh can sell 15-20 cows, but by the time of Eid Qurban, Pak Saleh can sell up to 50 cows. This is what makes Pak Saleh profit many times over. With the increasing demand for cows, Pak Saleh is facing obstacles in terms of a place to accommodate the cows he will sell, to expand Pak Saleh’s land requires a large amount of money to buy land for his cattle farming.

In the end Mr. Saleh met his friend and introduced him to KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati. Right at the beginning of 2017 Mr. Saleh joined as a member of KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati and Mr. Saleh also received additional capital to buy land so that he could expand his cattle land.
