Jakarta, 12 November 2024 – The management of KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati conducted a formal meeting with the Deputy Minister of Cooperatives, Mr. Ferry Juliantoro. During this session, the management presented the cooperative’s journey since 2009 and their efforts in implementing Good Cooperative Governance principles, while also sharing the success stories of cooperative members. The presentation was delivered by Secretary I, Mr. Ondi Gokkon Yanuar Saragih, who was joined by Chief Supervisor Mr. Nanang Hermawan, Chairman II Mr. Police Commissioner (Ret.) I Made Pande Cakra, and Government Relations representative Mr. Luqmanul Hakim.
The Deputy Minister of Cooperatives conveyed his appreciation for KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati’s contribution to developing of the cooperative sector in Indonesia and emphasized the importance of synergy between cooperatives. “Cooperatives cannot operate in isolation. We need to build strong synergies between cooperatives, both small and large scale”, he states. According to him, this synergy will strengthen competitiveness, expand the market network, and create a robust and sustainable economic ecosystem for cooperative members.
The management team of KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati welcomed this initiative. Chairman II, I Made Pande Cakra, expressed their readiness to collaborate with other cooperatives to realize the vision of an advanced and competitive Indonesia by the Government’s Asta Cita. “We believe that synergy between cooperatives will bring positive impacts to the national economy” he affirmed.
At the meeting, the management of KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati presented a memento in the form of “Kisah Kami Bersama Sahabat” book series 1 through 7, which chronicle the success stories of cooperative members in developing their businesses with cooperative support.
