Ibu Kartini in Makassar, South Sulawesi

Ibu Kartini, since she was in college in 2009, has been helping her parents sell clothes. After 5 years, Ibu Kartini was given the trust of her parents to manage and continue her parents’ clothing shop. Even though at that time there were already many shops selling clothes, this did not become an obstacle for Ibu Kartini. Even today, Mrs. Kartini already has 2 clothing stores, namely in the Mall and in the Market. “My family is all self-employed. So I also dabbled in the entrepreneurial world. Incidentally, what my family runs is a clothing store. Since college, my parents have been taught to trade clothes by helping out in the shop, ”he said reminiscing about his past. To face competition from other stores, Ibu Kartini does not do price surveys or compare prices with other stores, even if there are no attractive promos to attract her customers. In Ibu Kartini’s mind, selling a quality product means that the product will be sought after by buyers. Luckily, it was not a problem for Ibu Kartini. Besides that, Ibu Kartini doesn’t like to sell the same stuff as other shops. “I sell quality goods. Regarding the price, I have never compared it with the shop next door, I am more concerned with quality than price, the important thing is that there is profit, “he said.

The reseller system that was implemented by Ibu Kartini bore fruit. Many resellers who sell clothes belonging to Ibu Kartini, and some even open their own clothing stores with clothes from Ibu Kartini. “Move forward in an instant, by cooperating with friends to become resellers. It is proven that until now, the number of existing resellers is up to tens of people, ”said Ibu Kartini. Another instant progress made by Kartini, was joining to become a member of KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati. Precisely in 2016, Ibu Kartini got to know KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati from a friend and after joining as a member Ibu Kartini received a working capital loan to expand her business. Coincidentally at that time, it coincided with a holiday, where the moment was very busy with demand for clothes.
